ALEXIS De TOCQUEVILLE (1835) Democracy in America, Chap. X

                 My name is Ray Barry. I’m the creator & chief architect of the classical liberal party. This is a quick look into the reasoning behind its creation- the why and its overall purpose.

The Classical Liberal party will be guided whenever possible by the September 10^th project. Which will be a project that will, whenever possible, role life in America back to September 10^th 2001. Before 9/11 & the Patriot act, the great recession, covid, and most certainly before Anything woke. To a simpler time without the scholastic warping of our kids minds or before social media told you what you were and weren’t allowed to think. Before the complete and total war on the American middle class.

It’s going to be a party that will actually protect the environment by definitely taking the next step in environmental protection, not the one millionth step. A party that will resist all efforts to ban abortion. But will also be a pro-choice, not a pro-abortion party. Our official policy will forever be legal, safe and RARE. Not shout your abortion from a megaphone and wear crude abortion joke t-shirts. While at the same time educating students on what abortion actually entails. To absolutely safeguard abortions for women that want them within a reasonable period of their pregnancies. But that period will be, I quite assure you, nowhere near 9 months. Our aim will be to end abortion through education and personal choice free of any coercion, not by being the morality police and brow beating girls and women into doing as they’re told. While at the same time definitely protecting the procedure within reasonable means.

It will be a party that will end the trans chaos by mapping out a road map for- again, a safe, legal and rare treatment/transitioning procedure. That is, a treatment/transitioning procedure for those old enough to do so. Which will not be, for 6, 11 or 14 year olds. And there will most certainly not be any discussion about it in schools. A place wholly unsuited for such an entirely family centered issue.

                               It will be a party that will reintroduce civility, compromise, statesmanship and above all moderation back into American politics. It will be a party that will stop the nauseating, never ending swing of our political pendulum from the rule of what God supposedly wants to that of what the Democratic Socialists of America want. It will be a party that will recover what it means to be an American liberal again. That being- actually liberal and not a badly educated, batshit crazy, hardcore leftist loon waving a red Che Guevara flag that tries to shout down every idea they don’t like. It will reintroduce common sense- middle of the road- even boring governance that will govern with the lightest touch possible. And it will do so by living, eating, breathing and sleeping the three bywords on the front of the party review: Discipline, Unity and Focus.

                               And may I say the time to found this party will never find a more perfect time than this exact moment we’re passing through. When there are quite literally tens of millions of politically homeless Americans that find the thought of voting for a Republican party that’s becoming more and more a party filled with the religious morality police very distasteful. But they have no choice. Because their party of choice- the Democrats, have completely and totally been taken over by hard core, American hating, outright globalist- socialists. And that’s not being even slightly hyperbolic. They call themselves progressive democrats. But these people aren’t progressives. The original progressive party would have laughed them out of the party. They’re certainly not democrats. They’re not even proper socialists. These people are just badly educated, indoctrinated fanatics. Now to be sure, it’s not their fault. Those that were supposed to teach them properly, indoctrinated them instead into Marxism/Leninism. But that’s another story altogether.

                            Going forward our aim will not be to build a party to compete for a place at the Democrats and Republican’s table. It will be to allow as few Democrats and Republicans at Our table. From this day forward the Democrats and Republicans are not competing for the hearts and minds of the American people against each other. They’re competing for the hearts and minds of the American people against us. Fortune favors the bold. So thus we shall be.

THE CRITERION

It is the bedrock belief of this party that in order to achieve political success in this, our new century, a 21st century party must have 6 basic qualities.

                       First and foremost, a party’s entire body of principles as well as its entire platform must be fully shaped, refined and perfected in a way that is highly specific and perfectly clear on all points to all people. Furthermore, this platform needs to be entirely in place before any of their candidates runs for any office of the public trust.                   

                       Secondly, any party that is going to run candidates for a specific office, should first find candidates that have a complete understanding of, and conviction in, that party’s principles and platform or they should not run anyone.

                       Thirdly, political parties in the 21st century must be relevant to, and have a positive significance for all social & economic classes. It must be aimed towards the whole of a society, rather than sections or pockets of it.

                        Fourthly, once in office, a party must be willing to do whatever it takes politically, militarily, economically and legally in order to bring about that which is logical, desirable and necessary to the people as a whole. Yet always in a legal and (where realistically possible) peaceful fashion. Regardless of the political (i.e. electoral) consequences.

Fifthly, a modern political organization must include the ability to compromise where and when necessary on policy and legislation without compromising their core beliefs.

                        Finally, such a party must be structured in a highly efficient and interdependent way. Staffed with enthusiastic, intelligent and like-minded people. At the local, state and national level of the party there must be a very clear chain of party accountability and authority. Where that accountability and authority is decisive, final and understood by all. Any political organization that is lacking in these key criteria, is at best weakly led, loosely followed, badly staffed, and/or poorly motivated. At worst well, google 20th century isms.

THE UNITY PRINCIPAL

The Classical Liberal Party also has 5 equal, unbending, and uncompromising concepts & beliefs upon which we shall ever base all our actions and platforms.

1. The unified application of a single party program & strategy by all party members, at all times, at all levels of government, without exception. Period. We are one people with one source for our beliefs…………it’s called the constitution.
2. The belief that the United States in its culture, political roots and very national character is a western nation founded on European Enlightenment ideas and ideals first and foremost. As well as that our people and government should stand fast to those ideals. Today, tomorrow and until the Earth is swallowed by the sun.
3. The belief that all people are individuals first and foremost and are solely responsible for their and only their actions. That collectivist guilt towards any individual or group of individuals based on skin color, ethnicity, religion and/or gender has no more place in the American blood stream than does slavery, dictatorship, censorship or the letter u in words where they don’t belong. Why the hell Do the British do that???
4. A clear understanding of why things happen & why people and nations do what they do before any action is taken on any issue.
5. An absolute & unwavering faith in that of reason, understanding, facts & (politically unbiased) science in all decisions in public life over that of personal feelings and/or religious and/or political bias.

Along with these 5 concepts & beliefs are 5 overarching political aims & objectives upon which all our platforms and actions shall ever rest.

1. The immediate reestablishment of financial discipline on all levels of government, as well as the arrest and reversal of all municipal, state and federal run away debt.
2. The rebuilding of an exceptionally strong and well educated middle class as the main prop of the nation. Which will mainly rest on….
3. An immediate end to all forms of dumbing down and bubble wrapping of American school children by the reintroduction and vigorous promotion of such subjects as civics, geography, a balanced study of American politics and languages such as Latin, Greek and French. The absolute end of all trigger warnings, safe spaces & microaggressions. While at the same time pushing sports more vigorously.
4. The conservation of as much unspoiled wilderness wherever & whenever possible, while at the same time adopting environmentally sustainable construction & usage policies.
5. The protection of unfettered free speech and the fight against all forms of political correctness and indoctrination in our places of education as well as in both the public & private business sectors.
6. Well informed and active citizenship in the daily life of the country.

A modern-day Rome we may be. But let us not, as good citizens, echo Rome’s fate, nor allow those that lead us to do so on our behalf.
