THE ENVIRONMENTAL PLATFORM

OUR ONLY HOME

MAN MASTERS NATURE NOT BY FORCE BUT BY UNDERSTANDING.

JACOB BRONOWSKI
  1. The creation of all governmentally derived environmental and medical policy based on the best available Proven science. Free of all politically driven (WE’RE ALL GOING TO DIE IN 12 YEARS) climate hysteria.
  2. The passage of an international treaty banning any incineration or dumping of any man-made materials anywhere within the Antarctica polar region with threat of severe international sanctions for proven violators.
  3. The adoption, by international treaty, of sustainable forestry as the only global logging policy.
  4. The creation of the united explorations organization. The U.E.O. would be an internationally funded and staffed organization responsible for the deep penetration study & intensive exploration and research of earth’s oceans, deserts, mountains and rainforests.
  5. Share all new technology for the controlling of global warming with all developing states.
  6. Switch any and all funding currently going towards the building of wind & solar power generation to R & D in technologies that would extend their financial viability. Thus making wind & solar actually financially viable energy sources.
  7. The immediate and massive increase of both nuclear energy & fracked natural gas as a percentage of American energy.
  8. The correction of the gross under funding of our national parks.
  9. The forgiving, on a nation-by-nation basis, of all third world debt owed to the United States in exchange for each debtor nation’s guarantee to funnel a third of that debt to large scale projects aimed at that nation’s most pressing environmental needs.
  10. Permanently end drought in the southwest by building 20 (mainly federally funded) desalination plants along the west & gulf coast coastlines and extending by pipeline throughout the entire southwest regional area.

While the positions in the various platforms in this review shall indeed make up part of the overall party agenda, it should in no way whatsoever be seen by anyone as the final draft. Certainly, many issues have not even been touched on. While other positions already in this review need editing & additions. The party’s first executive council will take up these issues when it convenes.

TO DESTROY IS STILL THE STRONGER INSTINCT OF OUR NATURE.
